Sandamali Hewanayake who has been nominated for the award for the Best Broadcaster of the Year at the Raigam Tele’s today (17) will not receive the particular award, ‘ Sri Lanka Mirror’ learns.
The bank, which sponsored the award, has objected the presenting the award to her. Evidently Sandmali was previously employed in the particular bank and she was alleged of financial mismanagement.
Due to the particular issue she has been removed from compering for the award ceremony.
